Four things in one drawer
Each one switches off independently, and a feature you’ve switched off costs your storefront nothing at all.
Threshold-based free gift
Pick a product and a spend threshold. The gift is added automatically when a shopper qualifies, removed when they no longer do, and discounted to zero by a Shopify Function rather than by storefront JavaScript.
One-click in-cart upsells
Suggestions come from Shopify’s own product recommendations, preferring the complementary products you set in Search & Discovery and falling back to related ones. Hand-pick variants to fill any slot yourself.
Revenue attribution
The drawer tags the carts it influences and those tags flow onto orders, so Insights reports the revenue it actually generated: upsell revenue, free-gift orders, and the change in average order value for shoppers who engaged with the bar.
Why it’s built this way
Most cart apps do the arithmetic in the browser and hope nobody looks too closely.
The perks can’t be gamed
A Shopify Function applies the discount server-side, all the way through checkout. A shopper who deep-links the gift product into their cart without qualifying pays full price. Because enforcement doesn’t depend on storefront JavaScript, it holds for Buy It Now and wallet buttons too.
It stays out of your theme’s way
Dependency-free vanilla JavaScript loaded with defer: roughly 15 KB gzipped for the core, with upsells and celebrations split into modules loaded only when you switch those features on. No jQuery, no framework, no render-blocking requests, no layout shift.
Thresholds you don’t have to guess at
The settings page reads the distribution of your recent orders and suggests free-shipping and gift thresholds that sit just above where your orders already cluster — which is where a threshold actually moves average order value.
International by default
Thresholds convert into the shopper’s presentment currency through Shopify Markets, applied client-side and inside the discount Function so the two can never disagree. Storefront text ships translated in English, Spanish, French and German, and every string is editable.

Questions
Do I need to edit my theme?
No. The drawer installs as an app embed — you toggle it on in the theme editor and save. Nothing is written into your theme’s files, so removing the app leaves nothing behind.
Will it work with my theme?
The drawer replaces your theme’s cart on every page by intercepting cart links and add-to-cart forms, which works across Online Store 2.0 themes. If your theme does something unusual, get in touch before you install and we’ll take a look.
What happens to the free gift if a shopper removes items?
It comes back out of the cart automatically, and the Function stops discounting it. A shopper can’t keep a gift they no longer qualify for.
What happens when the trial ends?
If you don’t subscribe, you move to the free plan: the drawer and the free-shipping bar keep running, and the free gift and upsells switch off. Your settings are kept, so upgrading later turns them back on exactly as you had them.
What data does the app store?
Your settings live in Shopify metafields on your own store, and the only thing in our database is the OAuth session for your shop. No shopper data is stored anywhere.
